The Chief Post Master General, NE Region, Shri Sanjiv
Ranjan, IPoS, today called on the Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Phagu
Chauhan, and presented him with commemorative postage stamps to mark his
tenure. The Hon’ble Governor expressed deep gratitude and conveyed his best
wishes for the postal department in the state.
Additionally, the Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Meghalaya Branch, Shri
R.O. Wallang, along with Vice Chairman (E) Smti Amelia Swer, General Secretary
Shri Andrew N. Sawian, Executive Member Shri Ashok Goenka, and Executive
Member Shri Hansel H. Shabong call on the Hon’ble Governor and presented a
citation to him in recognition of the Hon’ble Governor’s exemplary leadership and
dedicated service as the President of the Indian Red Cross Society, Meghalaya
State Branch. The citation highlighted his tireless efforts and unwavering
commitment, which have significantly contributed to the advancement of
humanitarian causes and the betterment of the community.
