As the 2024 Members of the District Council elections in Meghalaya draw nearer, political parties are actively engaged in the process of candidate selection. Pynshngain N Syiem, the Working President of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee and Deputy Chief Executive Member of the KHADC, conveyed to reporters today that the Congress Party holds confidence in its candidate pool for the 2024 MDC elections. He emphasized that the party benefits from a substantial reserve of potential candidates, thanks to dedicated members operating at various organizational levels across Meghalaya
