Shillong Lajong were defeated 2-0 by Jamshedpur FC in their final match of the Kalinga Super Cup held
today at the Kalinga Stadium, Pitch 1, Bhubaneswar.

It was all even until the 45th minute, when Jamshedpur took the lead through Mohammed Sanan, and it
was Jamshedpur who were leading at halftime.

In the second half, Jamshedpur received a penalty in the 52nd minute, but they could not convert as
Seminglen Doungel hit the crossbar. Jamshedpur doubled their lead in the 73rd minute through
Thongkhosem Haokip and wrapped up all three points.

Lajong will now turn their focus on the I-League, which will resume on February 3rd, where they will be
facing Inter Kashi at home in the SSA Stadium, Shillong.
