On November 28, 2023, Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, Pyniaid Sing Syiem inaugurated Ka Shlem Jingtip which is part of the Council's Community Led Landscape Management Project at Raid Mawlam, Pynursla. This initiative, led by the Syrwet U Barim, Mariang Jingkieng Jri Foundation, aims to safeguard the community's culture.
