KHADC FACES SETBACK AS UDP MEMBERS SUPPORT NPP-LED EC

The UDP faced a significant setback in the KHADC as Nongkrem MDC Lambor Malngiang supported the NPP-led EC, following Bindo M Lanong's lead. Pyniaid Sing Syiem, KHADC's Chief Executive Member, welcomed Malngiang's backing. Earlier this week, MDC (nominated) Bindo Mathew Lanong announced plans to officially support Syiem. He
clarified to reporters that endorsing the executive Council does not imply formal NPP membership highlighting his support is grounded in issues affecting the indigenous people of the Community.
