In anticipation of the Winter Session of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council on December 19, 2023, Opposition Leader Titos Chyne raised a Point of Order, highlighting crucial rules for the special session preceding the Christmas festival. 

During the session chief executive member of the K DC P sing's a proposed an official resolution on the granting of tribal status to those residing in Meghalaya who belong to other parts of the country the resolution garnered support from MDCs including Titos Chyne, Ronny V Lyngdoh and few others and expressed gratitude for the colleague support emphasizing their commitment to the community's well-being and the state at large.
