The Capacity Building Workshop at INTACH, New Delhi was organised for members from different chapters in the country. Two participants from the INTACH Meghalaya chapter, Tosan Kharsati and Ryan , participated in the week-long deliberations. On the occasion of 39th INTACH Foundation Day, Listing Cell launched a unique mobile app for heritage survey. This app can be used by anyone who comes across a heritage building while travelling anywhere in the country. One can simply download the app from the app store to fill up basic details about a heritage property like name, location, present use and historical background in the survey form using one’s mobile phone. Photos of the property can also be uploaded directly from the phone. The app uses ArcGIS platform to store the collected data in INTACH Heritage Database.
