Distribution of rice and atta in East Khasi Hills
Shillong, October 30, 2023: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed the public consumers that rice under NFSA (AAY and PHH) and Non-NFSA and Wholemeal Atta for the month of October 2023 are being released through their respective Fair Price Shops.
AAY quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 kgs per card and PHH at the scale of 5 kgs per head. The AAY and PHH quota is free of cost. Non-NFSA quota is 7.205 kgs per household @ Rs. 12.70/- to Rs. 13.00/- per kg. Wholemeal atta will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs per card in urban area and 3 kgs per card in rural area @ Rs. 10.50/- per kg.
Any non-supply, supply of less prescribed scale, overcharging or supply with inferior quality may be reported to the DC’s Office, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.
