As the upcoming District Council election approaches swiftly, the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council has established a Delimitation Committee to address matters related to the 29 constituencies within the KHADC. The committee, formed on October 20, 2023, includes key figures such as Chairman Dr. S Kharsyiemlieh, a retired advocate of the uba Council, former MLA Dr. S L Marbaniang, retired teacher R Myrboh, Dr. DRL Nonglait from the Khasi Department at NEHU, and Member Secretary M Kharkrang, a retired Secretary of the KHADC.
