Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma’s visit to Jirang on Thursday concluded on a warm and personal note as he shared a traditional meal with local villagers. He was served Wak Kapa and Do’o Pura, two Garo delicacies specially prepared by residents of Pahamjula.
Emphasizing his desire to build genuine connections with the community, the chief minister shared that he had deliberately chosen not to engage caterers for the occasion. Instead, he expressed a preference for a locally prepared meal, stating that this approach allowed for more meaningful interaction with the villagers.
