In developmental initiatives within the 19 South Shillong Constituency, MLA Sanbor Shullai laid the groundwork for the Urban Public Health Centre at Lumparing in 2022. Continuing his oversight of the construction, Shullai, joined by state Health department officials, local headmen, and dorbar shnong committee members of Lower Lumparing, Upper Lumparing, and Raid Laban Kynjat Phutball, conducted an inspection on December 12, 2023. The sanctioned cost for the UPHC was Rs 4,99,00,000 during James Sangma's tenure as the Health Minister of Meghalaya.
