The annual Lehniam Ïewduh, organized by Raid Mylliem, took place on November 21, 2023, at Khlieh Ïewduh in Shillong. This traditional ceremony, led by the Lyngdoh and involving the Lyngshkor through Myntri Sohtun, commenced with prayers for prosperity in businesses within ïewduh, known as the rice plate of the Khasi tribe in Meghalaya. Following the invocations, Kharkongor performed sacrificial offerings, including roosters, hens, male and female goats, and a pig, seeking the welfare and well-being of the people under Raid Mylliem. The Syiem of Hima Mylliem, Ainam Manik Syiem, along with ministers and members of Raid Mylliem, witnessed the entire ritual.
