Eight Projects from State to feature in National Children's Science Congress
Shillong, October 20, 2023: As a component of the National Children's Science Congress (NCSC 2023) the State Council of Science, Technology & Environment, Meghalaya, recently launched the District Level Children Science Congress in all 12 Districts of the State in collaboration with the District Planning Office of every District.
This year's event has "Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Wellbeing" as its focal theme. A group of two Child scientists aged between 10-17 years working under the direction of a science teacher presented science projects in each district. The State Level will feature over 50 projects that have been selected from all of the Districts. Eight projects will ultimately be chosen from the State Level shortlist to represent them at the National Level. This was informed by the Joint Secretary, Planning Department &, Member Secretary, SCSTE, Government of Meghalaya.
