Aananda Foundation, a Guwahati-based philanthropic trust, has announced the launch of a grant programme aimed at promoting inclusive development across Northeast India, with a focus on supporting initiatives for persons with disabilities.

The Foundation said the programme is designed to provide financial and institutional assistance to organisations working to improve the lives of differently-abled individuals in the region, as part of its broader commitment to equitable growth and social inclusion.

Founded in memory of Minati Rajkhowa and Suresh Chandra Rajkhowa, the Aananda Foundation was established by a family seeking to honour a legacy of humility, service and dedication to community welfare.
It underscored its commitment to creating opportunities for marginalised communities, with particular emphasis on advancing the rights and well-being of children with disabilities.

Through targeted grants, strategic collaborations and expanded stakeholder engagement, the Foundation aims to contribute to inclusive development in the Northeast and beyond.

The Foundation has also opened applications for its first grant cycle. Individuals below 45 years of age, along with initiatives focused on improving the lives of children with disabilities under 18 years, have been invited to apply through its official website.
